Typescript narrative compiled from letters and a few diary passages written by Margaret Hall while she was a member of the American Red Cross in France during World War I. The narrative, heavily illustrated with photographs taken by Hall, dates from 23 Aug. 1918 - 19 Aug. 1919 and describes her service at the Canteen of the Two Flags in Chalons-sur-Marne and briefly at a canteen adjoining an emergency hospital in Ecury.
